10 Ways in Which Allah is Always There for His Creations

At times, many of us feel lonely or dejected. However, we should always bear in mind that we have a Best Friend who is always there for us — Allah.

10 Ways in Which Allah is There for us

In this article, we will be covering some ways in which Allah helps us, watches over us and protects us, both as a Guardian and a Friend.

1. Allah is Always with us.

Allah says in Surah Qaf of the Quran: [1]

And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than his jugular vein.

This means that even if we don’t feel He is with us, His presence is constant throughout our lives. We get so caught up with the events and people in our lives that we sometimes forget to give Allah the time that He rightly deserves as our Creator. This is why we should always be mindful of Allah, pray as often as we can, and be aware that Allah is there for us whenever we need Him.

2. Allah will Never Leave us.

None of us is perfect and we all make mistakes. There is nothing to sugarcoat about this. Allah knows this perfectly, and it is due to His Mercy and Love for us that He forgives our innumerable mistakes. He delays our punishment, but He constantly gives us subtle signs as warnings urging us to correct our ways. Some of us realize this, many of us do not.

By staying in a prolonged state of sin, pride and arrogance, our hearts turn deaf to our flaws. As Allah says in the Quran: [2]

Have they not travelled in the land, and have they hearts wherewith to feel and ears wherewith to hear? For indeed it is not the eyes that grow blind, but it is the hearts, which are within the bosoms, that grow blind.

Even for perpetual sinners, Allah keeps the doors of forgiveness open until death.

Thus, in spite of our repeated errors, Allah is always ready to forgive us because of the infinite love that He has for us.

3. Allah Wants us to Try Our Best.

It is mentioned in the Quran: [3]

Allah does not burden a soul except (with that within) its capacity. It will have the consequence of what good it has gained, and it will bear the consequence of what evil it has earned….

This means the struggles and obstacles which we face in life are sent down by Allah and are usually a test for us.

Such worldly struggles are a way to strengthen our bond with Allah and a medium for us to recognize that He is the True Mentor. Without His Help, we are nothing.

4. Allah will Always Respond to us.

Allah says: [4]

Call upon Me; I will respond to you.

This means that whenever we are in need, we just need to call upon Allah. He will always listen to us. He can even hear the thoughts of an ant, after all!

5. Allah Wishes to Guide us to the Right Path.

The Holy Quran is a prime example of Allah’s Care and Mercy for us. Had He had not sent down this miracle, we would have been completely lost and left in deep sin and darkness. The Quran embodies all that is required for us to gain Allah’s Trust, Love and Mercy. Plus, it also teaches us how to live our lives in this world in order to succeed both in Dunya and Aakhirah.

The Quran is also a treasure which contains the elaborate descriptions of Allah’s Magnificence and Attributes. It is, therefore, our duty to make an effort to understand it, reflect over it and implement it in our lives.

6. Allah has 99 Names — for a Reason!

We know that Allah has 99 beautiful Names. All of His Names are an apt description and a testimony to Allah’s Glory and Magnificence. He has these Names so that we, the humans, can connect with Him on a personal level. Each of His Names conveys a special and unique meaning. By addressing Allah using His Names we can hope to get closer to Him and connect with Him in a better manner.

7. Allah is the Ultimate Authority.

Humans are weak by nature. We take life for granted, spend our time in merry-making, but little do we realize that we are frail beings. Our health, wealth and even family is not permanent or eternal.

Allah has power over everything. By recognizing our helplessness in front of Allah, and accepting with the sincerest of intentions that Allah has complete control over our lives, we can achieve true peace.

Islam means submission, so the question arises submission to what? The clear and easy answer to that is, Submission to the Will of Allah. By submitting to Allah’s Will, we can gain success in this life and in the Hereafter. So, rather than worrying excessively about things beyond our control, and in the process forgetting that Allah is the Ultimate Power, we should have full faith in Allah because He has the best of plans for us and is always there for us.

8. Allah is the Best Problem-Solver.

At times, we may find ourselves in one of life’s puddles. It may feel as if we cannot find a clear way out on our own.

Well, that is exactly when we should remember Allah. As it is mentioned in the Quran: [5]

And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.

9. Allah Supports and Helps us in Many Ways.

Allah works in ways we cannot even hope to comprehend. Sometimes He gives us warnings in the most random and unexpected of places. Allah’s Signs are visible everywhere, but only the mindful among us can see and notice them.

Allah’s Plans for us are exactly what we need. At times, we may feel low or depressed. This is when we should remind ourselves that Allah, our Creator, has a plan for us and He will always be there to support and help us. To quote the Quran: [6]

… And Allah is the Best of planners.

10. Allah’s Mercy Extends Through This Life and Beyond.

It is said that a friend in need is a friend indeed. While that holds true for all sincere friends, it doesn’t hold truer for anyone other than Allah.

After our deaths, when we will be raised on the Day of Judgement, Allah will be our Only Hope. He will be there for us, and we cannot even slightly hope to attain peace and heaven without His Mercy.

In fact, Allah repeatedly looks after us, rewards even the smallest of our good deeds. He is the Most Just, undoubtedly! Allah is the Most Merciful, ar-Rahman and ar-Rahim. All we have to do is be humble, remember our duties towards him and seek His Forgiveness.
