{"id":358,"date":"2012-07-16T10:14:05","date_gmt":"2012-07-16T08:14:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/web\/?p=358"},"modified":"2012-07-16T10:14:05","modified_gmt":"2012-07-16T08:14:05","slug":"tauhid-islamic-monotheism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/?p=358","title":{"rendered":"TAUHID ( ISLAMIC MONOTHEISM )"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre>\r\n\r\nTauhid ( Islamic Monotheism ) has three aspects :\r\n\r\n(A) Oneness of the Lordship of Allah ; Tauhid-ar-Rububiyah :  To\r\nbelieve that there is only one Lord for all the universe its\r\nCreator, Organizer, Planner, Sustainer, and the Giver of\r\nsecurity, etc., and that is Allah.\r\n\r\n(B) Oneness of the Worship of Allah ; Tauhid-al-Uluhiya :  To\r\nbelieve that none has the right to be worshiped [ e.g. praying,\r\ninvoking, asking for help (from the unseen), swearing,\r\nslaughtering sacrifices, giving charity, fasting, pilgrimage,\r\netc. ] but Allah.<\/pre>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<pre>\r\n(C) Oneness of the Names and the Qualities of Allah ;\r\nTauhid-al-Asma was-Sifat : To believe that :\r\n\r\n(i) We must not name or qualify Allah except with what He or His\r\nMessenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him), has named or qualified\r\nHim,\r\n\r\n(ii) None can be named or qualified with the Names or\r\nQualifications of Allah ; e.g. AL-Kareem,\r\n\r\n(iii) We must confirm all of Allah's Qualification which Allah\r\nhas stated in His Book (the Qur'an) or mentioned throuhg His\r\nMessenger ( Muhammad ) without changing them or ignoring them\r\ncompletely or twisting the meanings or giving resemblance to any\r\nof the craeted things [ e.g. Allah is present over His Throne as\r\nmentioned in the Qur'an (20:5) :- \" The Most Beneficent (Allah)\r\nIstawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne \" over the seventh heaven\r\n; and He only comes down over the first (nearest) heaven to us\r\non the day of Arafat (the 9th of Dhul-Hijja), and also during\r\nthe last third part of the night as mentioned by the Prophet\r\nMuhammad (peace be upon him), but He is with us by His Knowledge\r\nonly, not by His Personal-Self (Bi-Dhatihi).\r\n\r\nAlso Allah said :  \" There is nothing like unto Him and He is\r\nthe All-Hearer, the All-Seer \" (42:11)\r\n\r\nThis holy Verse confirms the quality of hearing and the quality\r\nof sight for Allah without resemblance to others, and likewise\r\nHe also said :\r\n\r\n\" To one whom I have created with Both My Hands,\" (38:75)\r\n\r\n\" The Hand of Allah is over their hands \" (48:10)\r\n\r\nThis confirms two Hands for Allah, but there is no similarity\r\nfor them.  This is the Faith of all true believers, and was the\r\nFaith of all the Prophets of Allah, from Noah, Abraham, Moses,\r\nand Christ till the last of the Prophets , Muhammad (peace be\r\nupon them all) . [ It is not like as some people think that\r\nAllah is present everywhere--here, there and even inside the\r\nbraests of men ] .\r\n\r\n# These three aspects of TAUHID are included in the meaning of\r\nLa ilaha\r\n  ill-Allah ( none has the right to be worshiped but Allah ) .\r\n\r\n# It is also essential to follow Allah's Messenger, Muhammad\r\n(peace be upon him) : Wajub al-Itteba'a and it is a part of\r\nTauhid-al-Uluhiyah .\r\n\r\nThis is included in the meaning, \" I testify that Muhammad\r\n(peace be upon him) is Allah's Messenger,\" and this means, \"\r\nNone has the right to be followed after Allah's Book (the\r\nQur'an), but Allah's Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him),\" .\r\n\r\nAllah said :\r\n\r\n\" And whatsoever the Messenger ( Muhammad) gives you, take it,\r\nand whatsoever he forbids you, abstain from it \" (59:7) .\r\n\r\n\" Say ( O Muhammad to mankind ), If you (really) love Allah then\r\nfollow me [ i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur'an\r\nand the Sunnah (legal ways of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon\r\nhim), ], Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. \"\r\n(3:31) .<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tauhid ( Islamic Monotheism ) has three aspects : (A) Oneness of the Lordship of Allah ; Tauhid-ar-Rububiyah : To believe that there is only one Lord for all the universe its Creator, Organizer,&#46;&#46;&#46;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[78,42],"class_list":["post-358","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-about-islam","tag-monotheism","tag-muhammad"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/358","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=358"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/358\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":359,"href":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/358\/revisions\/359"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=358"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=358"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/investigate-islam.com\/web\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=358"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
